Stratigraphical Lexicon of Venezuela

The Third Edition of the Stratigraphical Lexicon contains the complete description (in spanish) of the geological formations of Venezuela that have been reported in the literature. It contains also the Second Edition and the First Edition (in english) as well as the references for every stratigraphic unit, many are in english. There are two ways of consulting the Lexicon:
a) by geographic area: click on the map, and then on the appropiate unit of the stratigraphic column.
b) using the search engine you have access not only to formation names, but to any word in the text, i.e., fossils, authors, bibliographic references etc.
