Normal level of supply
The Guatire filling plant has reserves for 17 days

Caracas.- Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA) informed the country that the filling of fuel Guatire plant has a volume of reserves for 17 days to supply the Greater Caracas.

Thanks to the special distribution plan implemented by the Trade and Supply Management of Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA), it continues providing gas to service stations in La Gran Caracas.

Mauricio Herrera, Executive Director of Trade and Supply of PDVSA, said: "The situation is completely normal, there was some disruption last week which is completely overcome.  Currently we have implemented a plan to incorporate tanks from inside the country; our refineries are operating normally and have enough inventories to supply La Gran Caracas”

Similarly, Herrera called on the population to remain calm in view of the alleged shortage of fuel: "We ask people not to echo what some media reports as they want to take the least disturbance that the system may have to build a matrix of negative opinion.”
